Blue Collar Workers Using LinkedIn

Many believe that the LinkedIn platform is only for the corporate world but they would be so wrong!

LinkedIn is used for networking, job hunting & as a digital resume, this is not limited to one industry or job type. We have seen a slow increase in some of our employees but not nearly enough.

So we ask the question why is there not more skilled labourers & tradespeople on LinkedIn?

As a labour hire recruitment company we regularly post on the platform, we discuss recent projects, team achievements & we advertise job roles. Creating a profile for yourself and building a network will stand by you in the long run. You will be able to connect with your company and co-workers in a way you haven’t accessed before.

Personally it is a huge benefit to your career, LinkedIn allows you to post education, past experience, skills & references. So essentially it gives you a digital resume that you can easily refer a potential employer to. You can also set particular settings to ‘open to recruiters’ to give yourself more advantage in the recruitment process.

Given the recent fast tracked & large investment projects green-lighted by the Australia government, the construction industry is set to take off. So make sure you get your profile set up, your network developed & position yourself in the best way to attract the job you want!

Once your set up on LinkedIn be sure to connect & follow our company page to be kept in the loop of our ongoings.

Begin the process today.
