Our Projects - Wemen

Wemen Solar Farm is a single-axis tracking project, located in Victoria, an hour outside of the city of Mildura. The site has an installed capacity of approximately 110-megawatt peak (MWp) DC, spanning across an area close to 700 acres. Nex Tracker was the system used on the Wemen Solar Farm.

TradeConnex employed 30 workers to the Wemen Solar Farm through labour hire whilst also recruiting & supplying Panel Installation Teams.

Some of the skilled workers we provided were Excavator Operators, Skid Steer Operators, Telehandler Operators, Quality Assurance Teams & Skilled Labourers.

Now fully operational, the solar farm produces enough energy to power around 34,000 homes in the region, whilst preventing the emission of roughly 117,000 tonnes of C02.
