Why use labour hire?

Labour hire is a simple solution to gaps in your workforce. You can decide what you need from a general labourer to a skilled tradesperson and we will handle the rest. It saves you time, 

energy & administration costs.


Why use TradeConnex?

We have a large talent pool of active tradespeople ready to work & we offer fantastic rates. TradeConnex are insured in every state with accredited labour hire licences. 


What length of contracts can I get a worker for?

We provide workers from a minimum of 4 hours work per day. On the other hand we also have rolling jobs where no time limit is set & the worker is deployed until you need. On our regional projects team members often have ongoing work for months at a time. 


How much do your charge?

One of our team members would be happy to discuss our rates with you. We have a set of rates that is very competitive, they fully depend on the trade & skills required. 


What benefits will TradeConnex bring to my company?

We provide all workers with PPE so they enter site ready to go. We also provide a great sense of belonging and culture. Our team feel valued and in return work at the highest level of efficiency. 


Can I take my TradeConnex talent on permanently?

We do offer our clients an option to take on a worker permanently. There will be a fee involved to do this which varies on how long the worker has been a temporary worker for.


What is the process involved in hiring temporary workers?

If you are looking to hire, you can get in touch with our team here with your requirements. One of our specialist consultants will then get in touch to discuss further. Once rates and contracts have been agreed and signed, we will get to work screening workers to find your perfect candidate. 


How do you screen workers?

Once a job has been ordered, our team will screen any suitable talent from our database. Our screening process consists of 3 stages – the initial screening, a face-to-face interview and checking of references. This ensures you get the perfect candidate for your role.

Why should I work with TradeConnex?

We take great pride in welcoming someone new to our team. You will be provided with PPE necessary for the job, full support on starting your new role & clear honest communication. We also have a great culture here that our workers rave about. 


What is the best way to apply with TradeConnex?

To apply you simply register your expression of interets online here. This live database is the best way to apply as we keep a record of all applications and you can be easily contacted if a suitable position becomes available.


How will I be paid? 

We pay you directly & weekly. To ensure pay is on time we request that all employees fill in their electronic timesheet no later than Monday morning 10am. You will be provided with an online portal  where you submit your hours worked, it is reviewed and signed off which submits your timesheet.


Are there opportunities to do regional work for visa purposes?

Yes absolutely! We have provided hundreds of visa holders with regional opportunities that can contribute to an additional visa for an extended stay in Australia. 


How can I find out what jobs are coming up?

As we provide short term and last minute labour hire it can be harder to judge each job. But once you have registered with us the system collects and holds your data allowing us to select the best candidates for the job at hand.


Do you pay ABN?

We don’t pay ABN. We pay TFN so we can insure all our employees are insured, paid on time and contributing to their Super. 


How quickly can I start working?

Once you have signed up and filled out your onboarding, we can usually get you out to work within 1-2 days if a suitable role comes up. 


Do you provide accommodation and travel?

Depending on the role, some of our jobs include accommodation and travel expenses. You will be informed at time of application if this is included.


What type of jobs do you hire for?

We specialise in civil construction and residential/non-residential building work. We also work with a number of renewable energy projects across Australia.
