Our Projects - Yarranlea

The Yarranlea Solar Farm covers approximately 250ha and has a generation capacity of approximately 134 megawatts DC (102.5 MW AC) – sufficient to power up to 32,000 homes. It is situated about 50 kilometres west of Toowoomba, in SE Queensland. The project called for the installation of 372,833 solar PV modules installed on single-axis tracking arrays. Artech was the tracking system implemented.

TradeConnex aided production through providing 70 workers to the Yarranlea Solar Farm through labour hire.

Some of the skilled workers we provided were Excavator Operators, Skid Steer Operators, Telehandler Operators, Quality Assurance Teams & Skilled Labourers.

The company also provided vehicles for on-site transportation of workers.

Yarranlea Solar Farm is now connected to the grid thus providing clean, renewable energy to homes and businesses in the Darling Downs Region.
